Roulette
How the Game is Played

Next to Blackjack, Roulette is one of the most popular games played in modern Casinos. It is also amongst one of the oldest Casino games.
Roulette is somewhat unique amongst modern table games in that it employs a mechanical device as the key element of the game. This is the large and very distinct Roulette wheel, which is mounted horizontally on one end of the table. The hollow of the wheel has numbered pockets ranging from zero to thirty-six (and a '00' in American Style Roulette).

Wagers in Roulette are placed on an area of the table marked with a pattern of boxes and numbers. This is called the game layout. You may place wagers on any particular number, any 4 adjacent numbers, a column or a 'dozens' bet.

The wheel is used to determine the outcome of a game of Roulette. Once the bets have been placed the wheel is set spinning and a small (usually metal or ivory) ball is spun onto the wheel in the opposite direction to that of the spinning wheel. The ball will rapidly loose speed and eventually stop in one of the pockets. The number of the pocket is the winning number, and winnings at roulette means earn money without knowledge and experience .

Roulette features
The Spin button will start a game of roulette by setting the wheel in motion and injecting the ball onto the wheel. The Spin button will only be available if you have at least one credit on the table.

The table felt is divided up according to the pattern of a traditional roulette table. It is strongly suggested that you read up about the kinds of bets available in the Types of Bets section. To place a wager on any of these bet types simply left click on the table to increase the size of your bet, and right click to decrease.

The Chip Size menu allows you to adjust the size of the increments of your wager. If you are using a Chip size of 1 then each mouse click will only add or remove 1 from the current pile of chips on the table.

Under the Options menu you can find the 'Quick Spin' feature. If activated this feature will stop all game related animations as soon as a reply is received from the Casino's server. This means that you will not have to wait for the Roulette wheel animations to slow down before seeing the game result and being able to play again. This feature can be toggled on or off. Visit roulettemoves.com for other resources.

The Undo, Redo, Clear and Repeat buttons are provided to allow you to rapidly change the bets on the table.
The Undo button removes all changes made to the table since the last bet.
The Redo button reverses the effect of the Undo.
The Clear button removes all chips.
The Repeat button will return the table to the same state it was in before the previous spin of the wheel. It will replace any wagers that were removed from the table.

Table limits and odds
Table limits are set by the Casino's server and can be changed from time to time. Please refer to the Casino's web page for further details or contact us via e-mail.

A player may place a bet on any line that divides any two adjacent numbers. The bet is that either of those two numbers will come up. The odds are 17-1.

The Row or Street Bet
A player can bet on the three numbers in a row on the table by placing the bet/chip(s) on the outside of that row. The bet is that one of the three numbers will come up. The odds are 11-1.

The Corner or Square Bet
The bet is placed on the intersection of four numbers. The bet is that one of these four numbers will come up. The odds are 8-1 for a winning number.

The Six Number Bet
